Our Story
A legacy of faith rooted in the Word of God.
The Evangelical Baptist Mission of Ghana (EBMG) was established with a vision to raise a community of believers who are centered on Christ, grounded in Scripture, and ignited by the Holy Spirit. What began as a small gathering of faithful believers has grown into a vibrant denomination with multiple branches across Ghana.
Through the years, EBMG has remained steadfast in its commitment to the Great Commission — making disciples of all nations through the preaching of the Gospel, the teaching of God's Word, and the demonstration of His love in our communities. Our head branch, Shalom Baptist, continues to serve as the spiritual hub from which our mission radiates outward.
Today, EBMG stands as a testament to God's faithfulness. With branches across Ghana, we continue to reach more lives, build stronger communities, and bring glory to God in everything we do.

What We Believe

Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a gift from God received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, edify believers, and evangelize the world.
Baptism
We practice believer's baptism by immersion as an act of obedience and a public declaration of faith in Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering us for service, sanctification, and witness.

We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
